Sundsvall-based design agency FMCA won gold when the annual design prize Publishingpriset was awarded. FMCA was awarded for the website they created for Härnösand-based company Norrlands trä in the category ”Websites that promote products”.

When the Publishingpriset was awarded at Berns in Stockholm, the Sundsvall-based design agency won highest prize in the category ”Websites that promote products”. Other competitors in the same category was Zeta, Atteviks Bil, Ät mer fisk! and more. The website is the result of extensive branding work carried out by the FMCA for Norrlands trä during 2018 and 2019.

Norrlands trä manufactures panels and floors of the finest parts of pine and spruce. During the strategic branding process at the start of the project, FMCA identified the need to increase interest in wood panels and wood floors. The first step was to move the brand of Norrlands trä from the construction industry to the interior design industry where the primary target group is located. Norrlands träs new website has an important and given role in their customers contact point. Therefore, FMCA made a careful analysis of their customers’ behavior and adapted the website for the needs of the visitors.

— The last couple of years we decided to invest in our brand. For us it has been important to work with a keen, creative and professional local partner. We found that in FMCA. In addition, of course it feels great for all of us to win Publishingpriset as a recognition of good design, but also for our good collaboration, says Maria Nivfors, marketing manager at Norrland trä.

— It feels amazing to win Publishingpriset together with Norrlands Trä for their website. A proof that all of us at FMCA do a great job for, and together with our customers, says André Högberg, Account Director and CEO at FMCA.
